CALCULATION CHALLENGE!!!

Wisconsin Non Resident is not calculating correctly. after an hour and 15 min with Lacerte and they could not get it to calculate either. they want you to send a CALCULATION CHALLENGE with a written request, the calculations and to why it is wrong and how to do it and what it should be. They won’t fix the problem without it.

Dumbest thing I have ever heard. They know it is wrong!!!!! I will just have to figure a work around. So BEWARE

if this is their latest.

Sounds like they want to hire you as an unpaid engineer. Congratulations on the new job. Maybe to veer off from the rest of the AI world, Intuit has now instituted the self serve tax software where you can do all the tax calculations yourself and not have to worry about AI errors. 🙄
