 The following diagnostic is generating:

e-file: Form 1040-X: The Net Change for the following item cannot be negative for e-file purposes: Deductions for tips, overtime, car loan interest, and senior from Schedule 1-A (From 1040) (ref #61635).

Try suppressing diagnostics and attempting to e-file it anyway. That sounds like a ghost diagnostic. May the force be with you! 😜

I tried suppressing and efiling anyway and it was rejected

We had the same issue trying to file an amended return. I saw the diagnostic code 61635, but I just updated the Lacerte program again (on 4/1/26) and the diagnostic code disappeared. I believe they repaired this issue.
