The following diagnostic is generating:

Form 7203 is required for any S corporation K-1 on Schedule E, Page 2, Part II, for which the basis computation is marked as required. Prepare and attach Form 7203 for both printed and e-filed returns.

Solution:

1. Click the diagnostic from the Diagnostics tab. 2. This will take you to Screen 2.2 Electronic Filing. 3. Click Attach PDF>Browse Files. 4. Navigate to your saved copy of Form 7203. 5. In the Link to form (defaults to main form) dropdown scroll to Form 7203 and click the "+" to expand. 6. Select Form 7203 to remove the diagnostic. Critical, will prevent e-file transmission.

I attached the Form 7203 - How do I make this diagnostic go away? It seems to prevent e-filing?

Did you link it to the correct form? See Input form 4.4

Why isn't LC preparing 7203 and including it automatically?  I'm surprised by that diagnostic.

In any case, I would Disable -e-file Error and then file it again.

Prior to filing again, go to E-File menu > e-file support tools > Disable e-file error.
