The following diagnostic is generating:
The first two digits of the firm's employer identification number (EIN) is invalid. A valid EIN may start with - 01 to 06, 10 to 16, 20 to 27, 30 to 48, 50 to 77, 80 to 88, 90 to 99. 1. On the Settings menu, click Options. 2. Click the Firm Info tab. 3. Verify the firm's EIN. Note: A SSN should not be input the Federal ID # field in the prep file.
Solution:
If SSN was entered to clear diag for Form 114 and the SSN happens to be outside the EIN range, this diag will generate but won't prevent the EF 114
