The employer identification number (EIN) is invalid. The firm's EIN should be nine digits, and cannot be all zeroes or all nines. Check and verify the entry.
Solution:
Check and verify the entry. 1. On the Settings menu, click Options. 2. Select the Firm Info tab. 3. Verify the firm's EIN. Note: An SSN should not be entered in the Federal I.D. Number field.
