The following diagnostic is generating: Contract and Straddles (Form 6781) aare not allowed for Electronic filing on the Schedule D . I am getting this Critical Diag on a Trust tax return. I had same form on 2020 return, but with out the diagnostic. 2020 return was successfully efiled with this form. What has changed?

I efiled return with diagnostic and return was accepted.

I believe you need to disable critical diagnostic first, then efile

Diagnostic refers to at least California trust returns.  Possibly other states, but of the 20 state returns in my trust return, only California triggers the critical e-file diagnostic. Paper-file California and you can likely e-file the others.
