The state of Tennessee requires electronic payment of tax due on a return with the balance due. Please enter Tennessee direct debit information in the Miscellaneous Information screen or indicate payment made through agency website in the Tennessee Miscellaneous Information screen.
Solution:
On Detail screen 3.1 Misc. Info / Other Info, scroll down to the Tennessee Electronic Payment section enter direct debit information and check the appropriate boxes to electronically pay the tax due. -Or- On Detail screen 42.181 check the box to indicate 'Payment made through agency website'
