Can you just ignore the Diagnostic if you already attached it?

No - I tried submitting the electronic file and it was rejected  -   just takes me back to this critical diagnostic.

What did you select from the dropdown list for the attachment?

On the EF tab, I selected "attach PDF" and then browsed to where my pdf file was saved.  Then in the "Link to form" I selected Form 8283 Sec B Appraiser Signature Document" and then in the Activity name I selected the applicable donation that I had entered in the 8283 input.

The Diagnostic you quoted says you need to attach the Donee Acknowledgement . This is the 8283 signed by the charity.

correct - that's what the attachment is...the signed pages.

You said you selected Appraiser signature. That's not what the Diagnostic says. Usually both need to be attached, separately.

In case you didn't get an answer yet, I just had the same problem today and I figured it out with the help of a Lacerte/Intuit rep. You need to make two PDF attachments, which are both a copy of the signed 8283 form. On screen 4.4, answer the question about "Link to form" to say it is for the Form 8283 Part B. On one PDF attachment, you say that it is for the Donee signature, and on the other  PDF attachment, you say it is for the Appraiser signature. Also, underneath that Link to form line, you need to enter the Activity name. That seemed to do the trick - I haven't e-filed yet, but the diagnostics went away.
