I cannot get lacerte to provide me with a new prepfile. I moved...and don't want my organizers to use the old address.

I spoke with them at length on 12-30. and their live support appears unable to really grasp what should be a simple thing.

 

How long does it take them to update the prep file after I updated the address on the main website?

    It can take some time, but you are asking other users so I DON'T KNOW.

    As an alternative, set up the organizer with the new address instead of  [FIRMADDRESS] [FIRMCITYSTATE] [FIRMZIP] which would pull from the prep file. 

    Answers are easy. Questions are hard!
