The following diagnostic is generating:e-file: As of January 1, 2019 returns that are subject to the efile mandate, must also make payments electronically. [ref. #53522]. The Lacerte programmers need to read the corporate instructions for Mississippi returns--in particular, page 5, which gives 2 payment options: 1. online payments and 2. check or money order payments. Electronic payment is NOT MANDATED BY THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI. Lacerte needs to correct their error. Thank you. Now, how to we get around this problem in the meantime?????
