The following diagnostic is generating:
CA SMLLC # {PrefixNum} : Form 568, SMLLC California SOS Number is missing or invalid. A valid 7, 9, 10, 11, or 12 digit number is required.
Solution:
- Click on the diagnostic from the Diagnostics tab and enter the SOS number in the CA Secretary of State number field.
- Or navigate to State & Local>Screen 54 Taxes>California SMLLC.
- In the California Single Member LLC section verify the CA Secretary of State number has been entered correctly. Correct if necessary.
