If you are running the Lacerte tutorial, you may only transmit a federal return. Remove the state from the list of electronically filed returns.
Solution:
Check Screen 1 Client Information to see if all 9s were used for the SSN/EIN. If used, enter the correc SSN/EIN and try to REP/e-file the return.
