New Jersey e-file Business Rule 109 states that the wages reported on Form NJ-1040, Line 14 must match the total W2 state wages reported. Please review and modify the input or the return will be rejected by the state.
Solution:
Ensure that no overrides for NJ wages are entered (Screen 50, for example). Line 14 of the NJ1040 should match the NJ sourced wages.
