The following diagnostic is generating:
Ending inventory in the cost of goods sold section is different than the ending inventory on the balance sheet.
Solution:
This diagnostic generates when there is an entry in screen 29, Balance Sheet, Inventories (if different from COGS) field (Ending). If this figure is the same as the COGS ending inventory, then remove the entry from this field. Lacerte will automatically flow the ending inventory to the balance sheet.
This diagnostic will not prevent the e-filing of the return.
