The following diagnostic is generating:
If "Farmer / Fishing Income" box on Schedule 7 is checked the Schedule IT-2210 must be provided for e-file. If total amount has been paid to meet a required exemption, enter the filing date in the penalty and interest screen and remove override for Form 2210 under the state column.
Solution:
- Click on the diagnostic from the Diagnostics tab or go Payments & Penalties>Screen 8 Penalties & Interest (2210)
- In the Underpayment Penalty (2210) section enter the filing date for the state.
- Next find "Form 2210 options (Ctrl+T) [O]" field. In the State column select option 3 from the dropdown to force Form 2210.
Critical, will prevent e-file transmission.
