The following diagnostic is generating:
Form 8936 # {PrefixNum} : The VIN entered for the vehicle for which a credit is being claimed is invalid.
Solution:
- Click on the diagnostic from the Diagnostics tab.
- This will take you to Credits>Screen 34 General Business & Vehicle Credits
- In the Clean Vehicle Credit>Schedule A Part I: Vehicle Details verify the VIN in the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) field is entered correctly.
- If the VIN is incorrect, enter the correct one in the field.
