e-fil: Arizona will not accept decedent returns for e-file unless the return is filed by the surviving spouse. (ref #10466)

I searched the Arizona state website and did not find anything about disallowing e-filing for deceased taxpayers if not filed by surviving spouse. The prior year tax return was e-filed by H&R Block successfully. Is Intuit's software not up to date with Arizona e-filing rules? Please update to allow for e-filing.

The Arizona Department of Revenue states,

"Most software vendors are approved to file Form 131 with the return electronically but verify before filing."

https://azdor.gov/individuals/income-tax-filing-assistance/filing-deceased-taxpayer

If you follow the link for "approved" at that website, it shows four Intuit programs:  Lacerte, ProConnect, and (on the same line) TurboTax and ProSeries.  These four are all approved for Form 131.

The State of Colorado says the same thing.
