Question

Intuit Tax Advisor

I cannot understand how the plan arrived at the itemized deduction amount how do I see the detail and adjust as needed?

I think you’d need to provide more detail and/or screenshots for us to help you here. This is just a peer support forum, Intuit employees rarely drop in here.

I will say to revisit the tax data you ported over to ITA. Is there possibly some override field that got turned on, like “force to itemize” or “MFS”…? Just guessing at this point.
