Intuit link - allow both Taxpayer and Spouse access

Clients should both have access to the tax file and be able to upload their own documents. Spouses complain constantly that entering the side with the Taxpayer's email and password is ackward and they don't like needing the Taxpayer to stand by to give them the access code from their phone. Both should have full access on their own.

I completely agree. This is one of my largest complaints with Proconnect / Intuit link. I would be grateful if they would update the software to allow two usernames/passwords so a link could go to each spouse.

Both taxpayer and spouse should have access to their Intuit Link tax file.

@TrishT - That would be wonderful! When I have called support in the past they told me you can only send Intuit Link to one email. Are you telling me you you are sending Intuit Link to each spouse? If so, teach me your ways! :)

It is on my wish list, too. I currently send out an additional email just from my own Outlook to both the taxpayer and the spouse to let them both know we have sent the Intuit tax organizer. Sending the extra email also lets the taxpayer know that in case the Intuit email goes into spam (because it has a link and is coming from Intuit) to look for it in their spam folder. It seems to help, but it does take extra time. Also, on the wish list is when adding a client on the Client List there would be enough room for text to add the spouses name so it would show up properly on the Engagement Letter in the Intuit Link.
