Ability to override From 8824, still e-file it, and confirm forms sent with the e-file
Hi Kathi - Thank you for the response. I determined the 8824 was not submitted with the tax return by calling the IRS. My concern is that other preparers may have been submitting the 8824 with substantial overrides and unknowingly may think that the form was included in what was sent to the IRS. I believe we should have the ability to override the From 8824 and submit it electronically. I also think we should be able to confirm what forms were sent electronically.
