EasyAcct essentially useless

At this point, EasyAcct has become essentially useless.  Cannot access data files, freezing up, chronically slow, missing information.  I'm beginning to think the issue is DEI hires.  Maybe Intuit should go back to merit based hiring and actually testing a product before they shove it out the door.

I totally agree with this comment.  I just attempted to reconcile several company January 2026 statements, and every company had issues with December 2025 carrying forward to January reconciliations.  It was a complete mess! What should have taken me a couple hours, took me an entire day to complete.  Also having issues with entry, etc.  No confidence in the 2026 program, and the almost-every-day updates appear to not be fixing any of these issues.  The price of the program does not reflect the quality being provided in 2026.

I agree.  We have started doing reconciliations in Excel again because it's not worth trying to fix it at this point.  I have used this program over 26 years and it's never been this bad.  We are looking at other software at this point.

Us too.  Been using it since 2001, but looking at other options now

If anyone finds a suitable replacement please please let us know what it is. I don't have time to search because I have so many tax returns coming in now.

I think most of us in this community have that very same problem.

Out of DESPERATION I am setting up new accounts for all of my accounts in the '25 program, using the old account's chart of accounts and templates. So far I've only done my own corporate account but it worked. I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS BUT I'M NOT UPDATING ANYTHING AND HAVING DATA STUCK IN THE WRONG YEARS. Comments?
