I am having trouble closing my General Ledger for 2020. Error says I must first close my accounts payable from 2018? I don't have any accounts payable, ever. Regardless, when I try to close it, the system does not let me. I was on hold yesterday for 3 hours and 40 minutes. So, basically, my company can't function until they answer my phone. Any suggestions or solutions?!!?

1 Select the Accounts Payable Folder

2 Select the Update Company File

3 Enter the Date 123118 in the Last Year-End Dates

4 Save

This Seems Antiquated but its the only way to do it.. Same with the Accounts Receivable.
