Will the 2021 Information Return System support State information return filing?
Will the 2021 Information Return System program support Wisconsin State Information Returns 1099's for 2021?
Wisconsin requires the State Code WI and State EIN# to be included on Forms 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC. We need room for 18 Characters: "WI/036888888888801" and we haven't been able to use the program for our state filings. Box 6 of Form 1099-NEC and Box 16 of Form 1099-MISC isn't large enough for this information.
