We have a name change and new federal ID number.  Got everything set up but won't let me use the AR and AP files.  Something about a closing date.  What should I do?

For each AP and AR module you need to update the Company files/Company Information by manually entering a Last Year-End Date by one year in the Space provided. Example 123119 if you are operating in 2020.

Doing that will allow you to close the General Ledger for the Year and continue.
