We downloaded the update today for new federal tables - but it does not show the Head of Household tables.  When will those be updated?  Also, what about the box in Step 2 being checked?  Where do we account for that at?  According to IRS there are two sets of automated payroll system tables - one set for box in Step 2 being checked and one set for box in Step 2 NOT being checked.  And there are tables for Married Filing Jointly, Singe/Married Filing Separately, and Head of Household.  I'm not seeing these reflected in System Utilities under Federal Tables.  Help?

I need to get a copy of the 2018 EasyACCT disk.  I need to reset my computer and I cannot find my CD from last year.  My customer number is 107137

I have a client who purchases Home Mortgage Loans.  He himself has Loans he used used to purchase these Loans.  The interest rate charged the clients is higher than the interest rate he pays for purchase of these loans.  This Business has been going on for awhile as a partnership and it was dissolved.  My problem is when i picked up the account.   The Customer's Loan balance is higher than the Loan balance of my client.  Of course because of the larger principal payment for my client.Question:Where do I post the Difference between the balances?I  post the Customer's Loan Balance to Accounts Receivable, where I apply the principal paid each month.I the Client's Loan Balance to Accounts Payable, where I apply the Principal Paid each month. 

Why do I feel like I am being gouged here?

Got the new 2019 Information Return System to help efile W2 and 1099 forms. Input all information and went to create transmittal file but everytime it freezes and shuts down the system. I got it to generate one time out of 7 attempts but even then it didn't produce a file that I could save anywhere to transmit.....

940 for 2019 ready yet?

When creating the W2EF, the state tax ID is not what is entered in the client's information.  The first three digits are correct and then it is a string of numbers.  The same string is showing up for multiple clients.

Run rebuild before every backup.  Message that these errors cannot be fixed.  Error code 248 (108).  List of most of the weekly paychecks.

So I have my client's file (xxxx corp 2017 - 2018) and I was able to do the bookkeeping and taxes for 2017. Now I have to do 2018 but I can't access my 2017 ledger anymore. The last year end date was changed to 123118 for some reason. But the weird thing is, if I print out the ledger for 2018, the beginning balance (ending of 2017) appears in the ledger.  Any help would be much appreciated.

I tried to do a payroll with checks dated 2020 and the withholdings did not calculate correctly. Do you have to purchase and install the 2019/2020 version of EasyACCT before you can do payrolls in the new year?

After installing Windows 10, my reports are printing on both sides of the paper instead of one side. How do you correct/change?Thanks!

After installing the W2 payroll 2019, the program cannot locate the data files.  Where are the data files located? To what folders do I point the program to look?

Hello,I recently acquired a practice and am trying to figure out how to transfer the prior CPA’s EasyACCT files/data to my EasyACCT software. Is there a way to “download” all the EasyACCT files from one license to a flash drive and then “upload” them to my new license so I don’t lose the historical data? I’d assume I must do this for each year if I would like more than 1 year’s data.Thank you

For example, we have a fee for design on an exterior project that has been paid and will go towards the cost of the entire project and can be depreciated, however, the build and other expenses will not be incurred until possibly 2021. Our accountant advises to run this as a fixed asset but to not depreciate until the future date. Do I just add it to the schedule and then not hit the "calculate current" or "calculate prior"?
