Electronically filing Vermont W2s

I am unable to file my Vermont w2s electronically as the Information return system generates a .DAT file which is not accepted by Vermont. Vermont requires a .TXT file. Any solutions to this issue ?

Thanks for your first post! EasyACCT and the Info Return System do not create any specific format files for VT. 

You can create the federal efile (.dat file) and rename the file to replace .dat with .txt. 

This will work as long as VT accepts the federal record format. If VT requires a different format than federal, you will not be able to create this file in EasyACCT.
