EASYACCT software

Have we all asked the question - Why?  Why has EasyAcct had such a hard time getting our software correct this year?  I believe they are doing this on purpose.  I have not updated past the first update.  My software has been running or shall I say limping along without any major issues.  This morning I started running a weekly payroll and nothing comes up.  It seems as if they have put something in their code to start attacking the software internally.

EasyAcct - How are we as consumers supposed to perform our jobs without a software that works.  Have you decided to steal our money and not give us a working software.  This is starting to look like a good class action lawsuit.  I have reluctantly been holding on before changing to Sage.  It seems at this point you are not giving me any other choice.

Intuit wants us all to got to QB online so they can charge us more in monthly fees. They do not care about EasyACCT. This year shows it more than anything else. Why are other companies able to print a W2 with overtime broken out.

I agree 100%.  No other software is having these issues.

Hello!

We know you all have had a lot of feedback about the EasyACCT program this year.

In this year’s EasyACCT program, Intuit invested in technology upgrades, ensuring that it continues to conform to our development standards.  This type of change is intended to support improved functionality over time and help ensure EasyACCT can continue to be maintained and enhanced in the future.  We are aware that as a result of these changes, customers may have experienced issues with the product this year.  We apologize for the challenges this may have caused during a busy time of year.

Our EasyACCT teams have been reviewing issues as they are identified, and working through them as quickly as possible. At the same time, we are reviewing our internal processes to help improve overall product stability going forward.

We also want to acknowledge the feedback shared by this community. What you’ve reported helps inform our review and is taken into consideration as we work to improve the product. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and raise concerns. Please continue to share your feedback in this forum.

Thank you for being part of the EasyAcct community.

Let me be the first to say thank you for acknowledging that you have attempted to make changes.  That being said, EasyAcct has failed every single one of us that are clients.  We have clients that rely on us to process their information correctly and in a timely manner.  We have many issues that have yet to be resolved that were some of the first issues that you were notified of.  We the clients are left with a software that we have fully paid for that does not work.

Your system is completely sluggish to the point that it is not a timely operating system.

Vendors are missing.

Payroll has been corrupted.

Accounts Receivable function is not working properly.

Accounts Payable function is not working properly.

Print functions have been corrupted.

That is to only name a few of the items you were supposed to have updates to fix, yet nothing is fixed.

The best way to say I am sorry is with money, discounts, gifts, hugs, kisses, but yes mainly money.  Money that should be credited to each one of us for the position you have put is in with our clients.

Again, thank you for acknowledging that the system is having issues.

Sums it up quite nicely, very well said. But I have little hope that real solutions will develop unfortunately.

If I could find another write up style/trial balance accounting software that was functional and shared the financial statement design, I'd happily spend double or triple what EasyAcct costs.
