1. Pay-by-Refund or refund transfer program participation available to eligible ProSeries and Lacerte customers for a limited time only. Program participants will be designated to an incentive category, as determined by Intuit. Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, Refund Advantage, and River City Bank are participating banks. To be eligible, participants must adopt industry refund transfer best practice principles by charging customary and reasonable processing fees, and federal returns must be transmitted to the IRS using a single account and EFIN. Federal returns that are rejected by the IRS, are deemed fraudulent or are a result of identity theft are not eligible for credit under the program. Aggregate credits payment will be delivered from participating banks by May 31 of the current year. A one-time bank setup fee applies to each federal Pay-by-Refund transaction. Additional fees apply to state Pay-by-Refund filings. Offer may be terminated or modified at Intuit’s discretion, and program and software terms and conditions, including available features, credits, pricing and support, are subject to change without notice. You must meet certain minimum funded Pay-by-Refund transaction thresholds in order to be eligible to qualify for free or discounted software. To be eligible to receive any incentive compensation under this Program, the IRS requires Intuit to prepare a 1099. You will need to provide Intuit certain information, including: a) Tax Identification Number or Social Security Number, and b). Firm name, primary contact, address, phone number, and email address. Failure to provide any of this information may result in your incentive payment being withheld, delayed or cancelled. INTUIT PRACTICE MANAGEMENT
Access to Intuit Practice Management powered by Karbon (Service) is only available in the United States. Licenses can be subscribed at Team, Business, and Enterprise levels depending upon the number of members at your firm/business or desired functionality.
The Service requires an upfront monthly subscription on a per-user license basis. Each license will be assigned to a user’s unique email address. Your account will be automatically charged on a monthly basis, until you cancel. Following the expiration of a special offer, discount, or promotion, your account will be charged at the then-current fee for the Service. Sales tax may be applied where applicable. During your subscription, you can choose to upgrade from one tier to another (e.g., Team to Business); however, you cannot move down a tier (e.g. Enterprise to Business) or mix or combine tiers with your Service. Additional terms, conditions, and fees apply for all Intuit QuickBooks and tax preparation software and services, including but not limited to Intuit Lacerte, Intuit ProSeries, and Intuit ProConnect Tax.
Intuit will authorize your card to ensure prompt order processing, resulting in a temporary hold on your Service account. If payment fails during your subscription period, we will attempt to contact you and retry your payment. If the payment retry is not successful, your subscription will terminate on the 15th day. Upon termination after payment failure, you will not have access to the Service.
When you cancel, all future monthly subscription charges will be discontinued. You may cancel at any time. Your cancellation will become effective at the end of the current billing date. You will not receive a prorated refund; your access to the Service will continue for the remainder of the current billing date. If you need to modify the number of user licenses, update account information, ask general billing questions, or cancel your subscription, you can do so by calling 844-818-5401 during service hours.
Data stored in Intuit Practice Management will be held for 14 days following the notice of cancellation of service. If you would like to extract your data, please contact our customer success team within 48 hours after cancelling to start the process. Your data will not be retrievable after 14 days.
Service connection requires a persistent Internet connection (high-speed recommended) and computer with a supported Internet browser or mobile device with connection via Wi-Fi or FTE and a supported operating system (see system requirements). Network fees may apply.
HOSTING FOR INTUIT PROSERIES
Hosting for Intuit ProSeries is a monthly subscription. Additional fees apply for the annual ProSeries tax software products and add-on services. If you purchase Hosting for Intuit ProSeries user licenses, you may not purchase more than the number of ProSeries Fast Path licenses on your account. Each month, your account will be automatically charged the agreed-upon price unless and until you cancel. Cancel your subscription at any time by calling ProSeries Customer Service at 1-800-933-9999 during service hours, prior to your monthly renewal date. When you cancel your subscription, your access to the Hosting service will continue through the current billing cycle, and will terminate on the next billing date. Upon termination, you will have access for 15 days to retrieve your data from the hosted environment. If payment fails during your subscription period, we will attempt to contact you and retry your payment. If the payment retry is not successful, your subscription will terminate on the 15th day. Upon termination after payment failure, you will have access for an additional 15 days to retrieve your data from the hosted environment. If you need to add a seat or change account information, you can do so at any time by calling ProSeries Customer Service at 1-800-933-9999, during service hours.
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook integration with Lacerte or ProSeries in the hosted environment requires an existing license for Office 365 Apps for Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Office 365 for Enterprise—E3, or Office 365 for Enterprise—E5. If you already have one of these licenses, you can bring it over on your own, or purchase a separate license through Rightworks or another provider. Intuit supports third-party applications that integrate with Lacerte and ProSeries in the following such capacity, including but not limited to: application installation, application set-up, tax product integration, technical and/or login issues within Rightworks, etc. Intuit does not provide technical support for in-application issues.
Adobe: The following Adobe integrations are supported: Adobe Acrobat Pro for Teams (subscription required), Adobe Acrobat Pro for Individuals (subscription required), Adobe Acrobat Standard for Teams (subscription required), Adobe Acrobat Standard for Individuals (subscription required), and Adobe Acrobat Reader (no subscription required).
Hosting for supported versions of QuickBooks Desktop (Enterprise, Enterprise Accountant, Premier, Premier Accountant, Pro) is included in the Advanced and Premium offerings of Hosting for ProSeries Tax or Lacerte Tax. Intuit provides QuickBooks product support for three years from the time of purchase. Quickbooks Desktop integration with Lacerte or ProSeries in the hosted environment requires an existing license for QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, Enterprise Accountant, Premier, Premier Accountant, or Pro. If you already have one of these licenses, you can bring it over on your own, or purchase a separate license through Intuit or another provider. Additional applications are also included in the Business, Advanced, and Premium offerings of Hosting for ProSeries Tax or Lacerte Tax. See full list of applications per offering. Applications not included in any of the Hosting offerings (Business, Advanced, or Premium) cannot be added to your hosted environment at this time. Rightworks may also offer additional third party services, not core to Lacerte or ProSeries, for an additional fee.
The Signature pad functionality within DMS is not supported in the Lacerte and ProSeries hosted environments at this time.
