Lacerte 2020:

For inputting interest income: Screen 11

For inputting control numbers: Screen 49 (This would generate "Control Totals" worksheet that shows COMPUTER, CONTROL and DIFFERENCE.)

Step 1: Go to Screen 11, Interest Income (1099-INT, 1099-OID).

Step 2: Scroll down to the Form 1099-INT section

Step 3: Enter the box 2 amount in Total municipal bonds.
