    Withdrawal Date

Do we know when the software will be updated to reflect the new deadline when dealing with withdrawals for payment? It currently produces an error when you use any date after April 15th. This should reflect the May 17th deadline for Federal and most of the states I deal with.

Took IRS a few weeks last year to update their systems for the later payment date, Intuit will follow along sometime after that.

If your client wants to file now but not pay until May, they may want to consider other payment arrangements.

I actually e-filed a Federal return by turning off the error-check with the May 17th date for withdrawal. It was rejected by the IRS with the Error Resolution stating they expect their system to be updated on March 26th, and to resubmit after that date.

Oh, that's very helpful!  March 26th sounds good!
