Weird yet unknown errors on simple returns ???

Simple return, says I can't file because of an error.  Yet, there are no errors to be found.  

Is anyone else running into this?  I have checked for updates. 

I have been able to file a couple returns.

It ended up being that we needed to verify a preparer's PTIN number.

Have you tried selecting “repair updates” from your start menu?

    try clicking on review return button for both federal and state, as well as error return review button (both at top) to see if any issues. pro series does very good job on identifying errors/issues in my experience.
