qualifying widower

Hey good afternoon, i have a client that her husband passed away in 2019 does the remaining spouse that did not remarry qualify as widower thanks

or is the client head of household thanks

I believe the correct terminology is widow.  Does the widow have any kids to make her the head of something, like a household?  If not, in 2020 sounds like she is a single widow.

The qualifications for claiming Qualifying Widow(er) and Head of Household are in the 1040 instructions.
