was in the hospital for 3 months with covid and didn't renew my ptin until 2/17, when i try to efile it says i am not verified, what can i do

As a side note, Garman did give you the correct answer ---------------- every now and then he gives some accurate advice

This is new this year. Under options/firm info, preparer.....there is a box you can check to confirm your PTIN. Check it and you are good to go.

@mayberryrfd - Sorry to hear that COVID got a hold of you. Hopefully you are back to close to your normal self. Your hospital stint puts things in perspective for everybody else whining about petty things here. Good luck on the rest of tax season!
