    Form 8915F

Since it looks like we will be filling in form 8915F ourselves I hope when we have the form we also have worksheets because the form as it appears in rough draft as of 09/23/21  looks very confusing.

I think its bark is worse than its bite.  It looks pretty basic once you know what you are looking for on the form.

This new "forever" form has sections/columns so that you can fill in what applies for any disaster type, for the tax year and for the disaster year. It looks complex, but if you follow the flow, it looks easy.

Another tax professional said the 8915-F is available on TaxslayerPro, and that he already has one return e-filed and accepted with it.

I wonder how long it will take ProSeries to get around to it.
