Why is the injured spouse Form 8379 taking so long to finalize? March 17 is ridiculous and March 31 for 8915-F.

I have one also, I just told them if they want the relief I will have to wait a couple of weeks to transmit the return, and I will let them know when it goes through.
I can't change it, so I choose not to spend energy worrying about it.
This is a form with so few user's it's not a surprise that software developers prioritize it and 8915-F (also a low use form) below other more major items. Not that I like it, just the way it is.
