can you file an amended return with proseries, can't find 1040x in list

Yes.
General Information tab, left side, first one under the second bold heading.
Or hit the green "Where Do I Enter?" button and type 1040X.
Be sure to check the year box on the 1040X, and set up any State amended form BEFORE you make any changes to the tax return.
It's there. If nothing else, try using the "where do I enter" button.
