Superceded return

How to file a superceded return and can it be filed electronically.  The only discussion I see is from 2020.  Can anyone give updates.

you just check the box on the federal info worksheet in part  Vll. E-File superseded return electronically. I assume you have already filed the original 2025, and want to change it, and you filed for an extension, as you can only file a   superseded return by the due date or extended due date if an extension was filed. Other wise you need to file 1040X
