Hello,

Is this available in Basic? The indicators are available, but what are they used for in Basic?

If you don't see it in the list of Forms, its not included (I feel like its been complained about before).
They probably have the indicators so you can actually split the file into 2 MFS returns....Does the File menu when youre in a client file show Split MFJ to MFS?

No, Basic doesn't have that and also can not split returns.

However, you CAN open the file in Professional to do either of those, then just go back to Basic when you are done.

That would be great. But how do you transfer 2021 files from Basic to 2021 Professional. I only see the option to transfer 2020 Basic to 2021 Professional?

You don't need to transfer it, just open it.

Click "open", navigate to the Data folder of BasWin21, and open the file you want.
