If a return is self prepared why is the program asking for form 8867?

Probably because Pro Series professional is produced for paid tax preparers and therefore all the forms are oriented towards that fact... Just my opinion ...

    Thanks for your reply. It does not show as an error in the checking, it says you should fix this problem (brown item not red). efile should be alright then?
