extension not acknowledged after a week

I filed extensions a week ago and the message says "the extension has already been sent to the intuit electronic filing center, awaiting acknowledgment." The efile status is "transmitted", the 4868 acceptance box is NOT checked as accepted and the status update is "no new status". Can't transmit a second time.

Try this... go the EF Center - highlight the returns then go to E-File>Electronic Filing>Update Acknowledgment Status (not Receive Acknowledgment)

I also efiled some extensions about a week ago and they were all approved/accepted. But I did notice that the approvals did not come back as fast as they did in prior years, so there may be some hiccups or issues this year with this.
