Electronic Amendments
A new client came to me because their previous "tax professional" filed the 2020 tax return electronically but with errors. They would like me to file an amended return electronically correcting the errors. Proseries is giving me an error saying that the amended return cannot be filed electronically if the original return was not successfully filed electronically. Can that be done?
