Compiling partner K-1's
I have 318 partnerships for now in Homebase. All have from 3 to 8 partners and many have the same partners. So there is a massive number of K-1's. I do not prepare the individual partner returns. There was a time, before we had so many entities, that I printed K-1's, sorted them by partner and sent each stack to each CPA preparing each partner's 1040. Now they all have software that reads PDF's of K-1's to get the info into the 1040 file. I print each 1065 to PDF and can also create a file of all the K-1's for the entity. Would Proseries, or another software, separate these files by partner and post them to each partner's folder?
