Can the Alabama Business Privilege Tax Return be prepared in ProSeries?  And, if so, how do I find it in my program?

The PPT is prepared automatically with the 1065/1120 programs.  Look for it in the forms bar on the left.  Unfortunately, the program does not support BPT-IN which you will have to prepare manually if needed.  Just complete the return first and the program will do the rest with a number of entries that do not flow from the Fed return.

    Thank you for your response.  This is a single member LLC, so no tax return is filed separate from the individual.  Is it possible to prepare the PPT as a stand alone form?

    Also, I do not prepare the individual return.

      If I need to prepare a single member PPT, I add the company in Proseries as a 1065 return and fill out the form manually.  It would actually be easier if you could do the PPT form directly on the MAT (My Alabama Taxes) site.
