Airbnb attached to the main house. main house 1,700 sq ft, rental 800 sq ft. do I report this on schedule E or schedule C? on schedule E would it be okay to do 50% ? what percentage should I use?

Do the owners provide substantial services to their guests? If so Sch. C if not Sch. E.

800/1700= 47sq ft.

    That's a good answer except for the 47 sq ft instead of 47% part. 😉
