8879 prints without the year

Has anyone noticed that the 8879 isn't printing 2020 in the upper right corner?

Yep.... reported a while ago.  New IRS 'rules'/formatting.

    You have to enter the year on Form 8879, Part I  Tax Return Information   Enter tax year you are authorizing

      Just found out yesterday!!

      Another form needing our input when a program could enter it for us.

      Not like we are filing 2019 returns with the 2020 program.

      2021 is beginning like 2020.

        at the very least...the program should 'error flag' us to input the year!
