What is a binary attachment for IRS reject code F 1116-004-02?

I scanned page 2 of Form 1116, Sch B, converted the scan to PDF and attached it to e-filed return. IRS has rejected return twice. What am I doing wrong?

Also, you shouldn't have to scan the schedule. You can simply select Partial Print and check the box for 1116 Sch B to print only that schedule, which you can then attach to the return.

What you're doing wrong is not indexing your F.1116 Sch B attachment to the right form. Go back to General > Electronic Filing > e-file PDF/Miscellaneous > e-file Attachment, and check that it is linked to Form 1116 > 59 = Form Schedule B.
