what corrects a "java" error?
I reinstalled - and had IT department perform all recommended procedures
We are unable to find the proper correction to this error

We had already done that (twice), but it didn't work.
Error is:
java.lang.NullPointerException
I can't find anything that addresses this specific error message.

Have you used this with the FORCE install. That probably would reinstall the java driver. https://accountants.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/install-products/perform-force-install-lac...
Have you called support. That should be your next move if the FORCE is not with you.
Yes, we had tried those options as well - neither worked.
Lacerte assisted in the original installation with our IT provider - so we assumed the source of the error message was on our end.
I will ask IT provider to contact Lacerte again.
