We’re releasing several EasyACCT updates throughout this week to improve performance, accuracy, and overall reliability. These updates will roll out in stages over the next few days. All customers will need to update.
If you notice unexpected behavior, errors, or something doesn’t look right after an update, please contact EasyACCT Support (866-220-0488). Sharing details such as what you were doing, any error messages, and when the issue occurred helps us resolve concerns faster.
Thank you for choosing EasyACCT. We’re committed to continually improving your experience.
So none of these updates will fix the Accounts Receivable general ledger for 2025 showing "No Records Exist"! I have been waiting for a fix for this problem since January 2nd! I have spoken to 8 different support techs and one supervisor, Angela! I haven't closed out 2025 and started working with the 2026 software because of this problem. This infuriates me more than anything! I sent a backup from my company for them to find a fix, was told someone would call me back today. Again, I've heard NOTHING!!! Yasmine and Angela, I expect a phone call this afternoon!!!!!
@cin15 Yes. Update EasyACCT and resubmit Form 940.
@Kathi_at_Intuit Has the 1099 Electronic File Creation been resolved in Information Return System yet? We could not create the file because it was erroring out. IRIS uses an excel file.
This is absolutely atrocious!. I think they are trying to screw up EasyACCT so bad that people go to QuickBooks.. We have never had these problems in past years so what’s different now.
We just updated our EasyAcct 20 minutes ago. I filed a 940 just to see, I received the email back (way sooner than any other time I have filed my 940's this year) but it still was rejected.... Please Please @Kathi_at_Intuit let your developers know this problem is STILLL a problem.
The update today did NOT fix the 940 e-filing error!!!! Please get this taken care of.
I have updated with the latest update, re submitted the 940 and it was still rejected! Is there an update for the update???
No it did not!
Thanks. Are they aware wrong bank information is coming up on vendor checks in a client with multiple bank accounts. It posts to correct bank g/l account but prints wrong info on check
Hi @Walp Thanks for letting us know that you are still receiving a rejection. We wanted to check, you are on 2025.2.06 and on the input for the 940 what is being selecting for 15b Overpayments? If it is set to send a refund EasyACCT would need to have the banking information entered.
@Kathi_at_Intuit Someone posted that their 940s got rejected today after refiling today. Are you sure the update today fixed the 940 issue?
@cin15 Thanks for the tag. We were told that it is fixed in the newest update. @Lucius did comment on another post that they were successful. I would make sure you are on 2025.2.06, if getting a refund make sure that the banking information is there. (see reply to Walp). Then resubmit and let us know if it is rejected.
I've had this problem since Jan 2nd
Just tried again, and we are getting emails of successful 940's being submitted.
@Kathi_at_Intuit any resolution for this other than restoring backup?
Do we HAVE to put banking information to file the Form 940? We do not report amounts due on the forms, and rarely have anybody with a refund.
Well after the update today we went from A/R being glitchy to not being able to print invoices at all. Enter and invoice and hit print and it just says "there are no records in this range." You mean the range of the invoice that I just entered and is currently up on the screen? Nice. So now not only do we have to deal with all these issues, but we're not gonna get paid for it either unless we send and track invoices to our clients by hand.... What a freaking mess.
Mikey,
A/R hasn't worked right since the 2025/26 version came out! I show "no records exist for this range" for the entire 2025 year! Still haven't been able to use the new version since I haven't closed 2025 yet. Frustrating!!!!
Hi @cess Thanks for posting about unable to access the file. We would try the following:
Hello! Todays update is now live and fixes the following:
When will accessing files from a network drive be addressed. Have files on one computer is not sustainable we can not have team members sitting idle or files all over different computers
Kathi,
I have done all seven updates and my A/R GL distribution is still showing "NO RECORDS EXIST FOR THIS RANGE"! THIS IS FOR 2025, STILL HAVEN'T STARTED IN 2026! WHERE IS MY FIX???????
ALSO MISSING 2 INVOICES FROM 2025 IN MY DETAILED AGED RECEIVABLES THAT WAS CORRECT ON 12/31/25 BUT IS NOW INCORRECT BECAUSE OF MISSING INVOICES! THESE UPDATES NEVER FIXED THIS PROBLEM EITHER! DON'T TELL ME TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT BECAUSE THAT HAS BEEN DONE ALMOST EVERY DAY SINCE JANUARY 2ND!
Are your files on a network drive?
Hi @StahlManager Thank you for sharing this in the Community. This issue has already been reported, and the updates scheduled for this week do not include a fix for the Accounts Receivable General Ledger showing “No Records Exist.”
At this time, we do not have an estimated timeline for a resolution. If anything changes with the remaining updates or once more information becomes available, we will post an update here in the Community.
Thank you for your patience.
I have done the latest update and back to - no accounts found. Have visited with 4 techs trying to fix -
Unable to access data files for Company.
Hi @ITAS010623 Thanks for posting on the update post. We checked with support and were told that the creation of the transmission file is working and we do see that another user has confirmed that it is working for them. We would have to recommend contacting EasyACCT Support for assistance with this.
Hi @bigburg This was reported and fixed in an earlier release of the program. If you are on the most current release and are still seeing this we would ask that you contact EasyACCT Support. They would be able to take a look and get a file for support to review.
Kathi,
My patience went out the window a long time ago! I have been waiting all month for the A/R GL problems to be fixed! This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
Well now I can print invoices again, but COMPLETELY ****D up wouldn't even begin to describe it. I entered a $300 Invoice for a client and then printed it... The invoice # and client ID# match, but the Bill To address is a COMPLETELY different company all together and somehow the amount shows as the correct $300 but the Total Due shows as $240..... So not being able to print was probably better than printing complete garbage....
I updated to 6. I WAS able to print 4th qtr payroll taxes and W-2s. Luckily I prepare a separate reconciliation of all the quarterly payroll taxes I file.
With the new update, I have lost payroll in each of the three preceding quarters on one client. I am missing $2004.34 from Q1 2025, $1022.89 from Q2 2025 and $1092.89 from Q3 2025. This is comparing payroll reports from each of the quarters that I saved and what prints now. The state wage number is the correct amount. The federal, medicare and SS wage totals are NOT correct. Soooo, guess no one else gets W-2 until intuit gets their sh** together. I am not willing to open another client and update to #6 to see if this is across all clients.
What is wrong with Intuit? OMG! This is ridiculous. What has happened in this update? I will not be doing the #7 update. Good God! What would happen?!?!?!
Reconcile everything before you do any filing. We have 2024's checks posted on 2025's reports, which caused incorrect amounts for Q4. I do believe version #110 or #201 seriously damaged company files when you open and convert them from version 2024.
Just installed the newest update and fixed none of the performance issues. In fact, it looks like @Kathi_at_Intuit edited their post to exclude the performance issue fix that was originally in their list.
Good thing we did not get our hopes up. Kinda expected them to fumble this update as well.
Kathi,
Still NO fix for the A/R GL distribution or any A/R problems with missing invoices and pulling wrong info from years before!!!??? This company's software is WORTHLESS!!!!
@Kathi_at_Intuit After the most recent updates, financial statement formatting is off again. When printing current and comparative financials together, the comparative cover page is printing on the bottom half of the last page of the current. I can get around this by printing current and then appending with the comparative, but there is a random y printing at the top left corner on the last page of the current. Will this be something that is included in an update soon? It was fixed for a while but is now happening again with the last couple updates.
Hi @SK AA Thanks for calling that out. I did not realize that line was missing, and it has been added back to reflect what was originally there.
Thank you as well for letting us know that the performance issues are still occurring. All feedback has been gathered and shared with our Support and Development teams.
Ok so after downloading 2025.2.08, our program has now started zeroing out the MTD & QTD columns on the payroll journal. I went to repost everything for Oct - Dec 2025 & that's when I noticed. I had not noticed this happening prior to that update. I tried restoring to an earlier version but it did not do any good whatsoever. I have attached a screenshot of what it's doing.
oing to try to attach a screenshot.
I am on the most recent version but still being told that I can not e-file the 940s. It says the 2.08 version is not the most recent yet there are no additional updates. We are less then a week away from the deadline when is this going to be resolved.
Hi @jackets0586 Thanks for posting this on the update post and shring the details. We have shared this with our Support and Development teams. There is no estimated timeframe when this will be fixed, however we will continue to keep the Community informed with release updates and what they are fixing.
Hi @bduteau Thanks for posting in the Community about not being able to e-file 940s and it telling you that 2.08 is not the most recent update. 2.08 is the most recent version and Community members have been reporting that they have been able e-file 940s. It could be that the EasyACCT program needs be uninstalled and reinstalled or maybe a repair would help. For the EasyACCT program if you:
Want to uninstall and then reinstall see the support article linked.
If you would like to try and repair:
In the support article it does callout making a backup of the data files, would recommend for doing any of the steps above.
If you do not feel comfortable trying these steps please reach out to EasyACCT Support on Monday.
