Hi @bduteau Thanks for posting in the Community about not being able to e-file 940s and it telling you that 2.08 is not the most recent update. 2.08 is the most recent version and Community members have been reporting that they have been able e-file 940s. It could be that the EasyACCT program needs be uninstalled and reinstalled or maybe a repair would help. For the EasyACCT program if you:

 

Want to uninstall and then reinstall see the support article linked.

 

If you would like to try and repair:

 

  1. Close EasyACCT.
  2. Go to "?":\EasyW\ where "?" is the Drive letter.
  3. Check to see if you have a Network folder, if you do open it. If you do not, do not continue, as you would not be able to run the repair.
  4. Double-click the Setup.exe, agree to the terms and select OK.
  5. Click Next and it should tell you what version is installed and allow you to pick the radio button for Reinstall all files to restore missing and damaged files.
  6. You would follow the onscreen instructions from there.

 

In the support article it does callout making a backup of the data files, would recommend for doing any of the steps above
