How to get a refund when you buy Proseries doesn't work and they don't have anyone working that can fix the problem. There has to be a better software program

This program is terrible and should be removed as an option for preparing tax returns.  Their support is joke.

Nobody here has signature authority on an Intuit checking account so you need to call customer service.  But I am always curious, what kind of problems are you having?

Printing a tax return pdf or to paper and the program crashes, Editing the Client Letter the program crashes.  Tech Support post regarding this states that it is because I am using a 32-BIT computer.  I am NOT.  I use 64-BIT.  Called Support on Tuesday and they said that their was a 4 hour and 35 minute hold time.  After 2 hours and 20 minutes was disconnected.

Some other folks with 64 bits have had luck using the 32 bit solution.  Uninstall any non-essential modules for the time being.  Add the modules back later when you need them.  So if you have states or business modules that aren't a necessity right now, uninstall them.

I have installed 1040, 1120S, 1120, 1065, 1041, and the state of Oklahoma for each.  I have these installed because I am working on them.  Are saying that I should uninstall the 1040 when I work in 1120S and then reinstall 1040 each time I need to work on a personal tax return.  Since I am networked I would have to check to make sure no one in the office would need the 1040's while I try printing the tax return.  This seems extra work that a $6,500 program should not have.

No, you don't want to be uninstalling and installing again.  The only state you have installed is Oklahoma?

If you have current clients that you are working on already in each of the modules, then the temporary fix of uninstalling unused modules wont help, sorry.

The printing issues you described may be resolved by uninstalling the 1040NR if you're not using it if it is installed. In regards to a refund, you would need to speak with our customer service department. Their hours of operation are view-able by visiting the link below

Uninstalling the 1040NR solved my printing crashing issues for 3 days then I was forced to update twice and they came back....I have now uninstalled all modules except for the 1040 and various states, and have been crash free.....I have to have the 1041 back by the 19th though, so get cracking programmers!

I agree even 2 years later I change tax software programs to this program for 2020, and I am so frustrated their support is no support have spent over 5 hour of my time trying to get the esignature to work, this program is not user friendly. i contine to get a message cannot retrieve email tempplate please try again later, well its three days later same issue when i have clients aiting on their refund. I am switching back to taxslayer... much easier..
